With panic buying and toilet paper shortages, to culinary challenged millenials now faced with the prospect of cooking every night, COVID-19 lockdown presented many problems. And The Flying Zucchinis had an inspired solution.

Delivering fresh local produce, pantry staples and yes, even toilet paper, The Flying Zucchinis is the latest food delivery service taking Melbourne by storm, one veggie box at a time.

I was tasked to develop the brand identity, brand and social guidelines, and email marketing style guide for this fresh start-up. The brand tone is fun, quirky and relatable, targeting local eco-conscious millennials who have found themselves in a pinch due to bare supermarket shelves and bare bones culinary skills. Armed with my Zucchini mascot, I applied this brand image and tone of voice through various pieces of brand collateral and ensured that this light fun brand was cohesive, fun and prepped for takeoff.
