Who am I
I am Ash Myburgh and I’m a Sydney-based graphic designer, photographer and visual communicator.
I studied Design in Visual Communications at the University of Technology, Sydney, graduating with 1st Class Hons where I discovered my passion for photography, image manipulation, print & layout design and branding & identity.
I am a major fashion and music enthusiast and attempt to incorporate elements of these two passions in my work.
I’m a bit of a metal head and love a good moshpit. I’m also a fitness junkie with a heavy addiction to my iPod; easily be spotted by my bright red hair and earphones in my ears.
As a visual communicator, I am constantly aiming to visually express particular messages in a conceptual way that challenges normal conventional ways of thinking and experimenting in different forms.
I approach my design with a hands-on process and love image experimentation in order to create a unique and personal element to my projects.
I always aim to design conceptually and strongly believe that without a concept and direction, your project is doomed to fail and will not communicate your message.
